Axle-Man
Axle-Man is a giant robot, constructed by Stephen Asma from
left-over
bits
of Rock, Funk, Jazz, alt-Country and Blues.
Asma operates the
unpredictable
creature from some
undisclosed lair, but has limited
powers over the giant
golem.
Listen as the automaton stumbles into
one musical misadventure
after
another. The songs are melodic,
catchy, and possibly
dangerous to the future
of human-kind as we
know it. Cue the
death-ray and come destroy the city
with Axle-Man!
Spunkshine
Manipulating non-specific genres, Spunkshine blends eclectic
hypno-grooves with a generously measured quantity of ambient throb. Spunkshine compositions have been used in major motion picture trailers, including Sahara (Superbowl TV ad), Into the Blue (International trailer),
Hustle and Flow (Paramount Classics; TV campaign), and Daltry Calhoun (Miramax). Spunkshine is the doppelganger of David Asma, a nationally recognized doer of things.
Asmaniac
Lush, yet dramatic. Asmaniac (Dan Asma) has produced an extensive
library of compositions, many of which have been described as
Soundtracks for Thought. Using vivid orchestration wedded to
cutting-edge electronic harmonies, Asmaniac arrangements both
construct and stimulate aural dramaturgy.
