Prowl the Halls of the Academy

Academy of Fists, LLC is an artist-operated, independent media group.

At this time, the Academy is not seeking submissions from outside sources (our apologies -- we know it sucks!).

Borrowing its name from the 18th century Italian organization whose radical and eloquent members* urged social reform, this present incarnation of the Academy is proud to offer an equivalent cadre of articulate and thorough musical artists.

In its original form, the Academy was "dedicated to waging relentless war against economic disorder, bureaucratic petty tyranny, religious narrow-mindedness, and intellectual pedantry." Given those same lofty goals today, the Academy of Fists LLC is dedicated to the crusade against the pedestrian world of far-too-fashionable popular music. Moreover, it continues to struggle against its own arrogance as demonstrated by the use of such fatuous platitudes in the preceding sentence... so there. 'nuf said.

We invite visitors to "prowl the halls of the Academy" and enjoy the musical imagination employed by its members. Please feel free to visit us frequently.
